Splitz is the original Vilhelm Hertz Crutch, inspired by the classic English axillary crutches that support you under the armpit. A crutch model that is used far more often in Anglo-Saxon countries than in Europe. By reducing and rotating it 90 degrees, they created a cradle that supports the handle, thereby changing its function to a European style elbow crutch.

This crutch has been inspired by Danish furniture design. Vilhelm Hertz has paid great attention to selecting materials that wear beautifully, enhancing their look with age and thus they will last for many years. The finished result is a perfectly balanced crutch, bespoke to your frame.

Our partners Vilhelm Hertz are a Danish company that produces beautiful, handcrafted, assistive products. You can read more about this unique, ethical company here
