These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales via our web site or telesales.
1. Product Specification
Products are detailed as per manufacturer’s specifications.
All prices include VAT at the current rate but exclude delivery. Certain charitable organisations and persons with a chronic illness or disability may be eligible to claim VAT relief on products shown with the VAT relief symbol. Claims for VAT relief can be declared at the checkout process (see Vat Relief footer page of our website). We regret that VAT cannot be credited at a later date if the required VAT relief declaration is not received at the time of ordering.
Prices quoted for delivery are for UK Mainland, this does not include Northern Ireland, the Highlands, and Islands which can be quoted for by request via our email address.
We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time, without prior warning and with immediate effect.
We reserve the right to charge a small administration fee on last-minute changes to orders that create extra administration.
3. Delivery & Returns
We comply with the requirements of distance selling and will provide a refund on any products returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they have been returned in a perfect, resaleable condition.
Our partner Ponte Giulio, suppliers of bathroom sanitary wares and grab rails, charge a 10% restocking fee on any returned items which we reserve the right to pass back to you, the customer.
Our partner @llgood, supplier of the Holt Oak range of bathroom grab rails charge a 40% restocking fee and any returns will only be accepted if the items are returned in original, undamaged packaging.
Returns of INDESmed crutches or walking sticks are subject to a £18.95 return charge as the products are shipped directly from Spain and will need to be returned to Spain if they are not suitable.
If for any reason your dispatched order is not received, please let us know within 28 days of receiving the dispatch notification. If you do not notify us of the non-arrival of goods within 28 days, we will do our best to look into the issue but we are not responsible for the order after this period and cannot refund you for the non-delivered goods.
Please note that any items which are offered at a reduced sale price and listed as Ex-Demo are non-returnable.
designed2enable accepts payment via PayPal and Braintree powered by PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can also use all major credit cards, via PayPal. To further safeguard your debit and credit card numbers and your bank account details, they do not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet.
We cannot be held responsible for any delay in receiving refunds from us via PayPal for amounts that we have credited to your PayPal account. You will receive an email notification from us that the payment has been processed, any delay in this refund being available in your account is the responsibility of PayPal
We also accept payment by cheque which is explained during the checkout process. Please be aware that orders will be dispatched once the cheque has been received and has cleared.
5. Availability of Goods
Some of our goods are dispatched directly from the manufacturer and are therefore subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you by email on receipt of your order and we will endeavour to supply the item as soon as possible. Alternatively, we will refund you the full amount and ask you to re-order.
6. Import Regulations and Duty
If you order goods from our Site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for the payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
7. Access to our site
We will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
We make every effort to show every product as accurately as possible but due to limitations and differences between monitors, there may be slight colour differences to those displayed.
We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of our website however it is possible some errors may occur. We will make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible but we cannot be held responsible.
We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you.
Any material downloaded or obtained from our website is done so entirely at your own risk.
